Viennese Chocolate Recipe
I got this Viennese Chocolate recipe from somewhere I don't remember and I am so glad I tried it out. Drink chocolate the Vienna-style with this Viennese Chocolate recipe. Soothes your palate!
Ingredients
1 (6 ounce) package semisweet chocolate morsels
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon grated orange rind
1/3 cup orange juice
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup whipping cream, whipped
Hot milk
Cointreau or other orange flavored liqueur (optional)
Cinnamon sticks
Directions
Combine first 5 ingredients in a heavy saucepan.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth.
Remove from heat, and cool to lukewarm.
Fold whipped cream into chocolate mixture; cover and refrigerate up to 1 week.
To serve, spoon 2 tablespoons chocolate mixture into each cup; add 3/4 cup hot milk and 1 ounce cointreau, if desired, stirring until blended.
