Ingredients

 Cabbage1
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), chopped
 White wine4 Ounce
 Butter4 Tablespoon
 Oil2 Tablespoon
 Bacon or pancetta slices, chopped 4
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Pepper1 Pinch

Directions

Wash cabbage and discard the core, then slice coarsely and place in a large pot with the garlic clove and wine.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes, or until the leaves are soft.
Heat butter and oil in a large frying pan and add remaining ingredients.
Cook until the fat has been rendered from the bacon, then add drained cabbage.
Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, then serve immediately.
