Very Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients
| Milk | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 4 eggs, slightly beaten | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 (14 ounce) can Eagle Brand | ||
| Sweetened condensed milk | ||
| Half and Half | 2 1/2 Quart | |
| Vanilla extract | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon extract | 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| White rum | 1/2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
In the top of a double boiler over hot, not boiling water, warm milk. With a wooden spoon stir in sugar until dissolved. With a wire whisk beat in eggs. Cook and stir until slightly thickened.
Stir in salt, sweetened condensed milk, half and half, vanilla, lemon extract, and rum until well combined and smooth. Remove from heat.
Pour mixture into an electric ice cream maker and follow manufacturer's operating directions.
