A TRADTIONAL RECIPE WHICH HAS A LITTLE MODERATIONS

Ingredients

 Vermicelli1 Cup (16 tbs), roasted
 MEDIUM SIZED ONION 1/2 FINELY CHOPPED
 MEDIUM SIZED TOMATO 1/2 FINELY CHOPPED
 FINELY CHOPPED GARLIC POD 2
 Mustard1/2 Teaspoon
 Urad dal1/2 Teaspoon
 CHANNA DAL 1/2 TSP
 Salt1 To taste
 Oil3 Teaspoon
 Lemon juice2 Drop
 Water2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Coriander leaves4 , chopped

Directions

1. ROAST VERMICILI IN 1 TSP OIL
2. HEAT 2 TSP OIL CRACKEL MUSTARD, URAD DAL, CHANNA DAL. ADD THE ONIONS, SAUTE IT WELL THEN ADD CHOPPED GARLIC FOR FLAVOUR & THEN THE TOMATOES, COOK WELL. NOW PUT SALT TO TASTE.
3. THEN POUR 2 CUPS OF WATER AND BRING IT TO BOIL
4. ADD VERMICILI TO THE BOILED WATER AND KEEP STIRRING CONTINUOUSLY
5. ONCE ITS TAKEN OFF FRM HEAT PUT 2 -3 DROPS OF LEMON JUICE & MIX IT WELL
5. GARNISH WITH CORAINDER LEAVES
UPMA IS READY TO EAT.
