Ingredients
| Vermicelli | 1 Cup (16 tbs), roasted | |
| MEDIUM SIZED ONION 1/2 FINELY CHOPPED | ||
| MEDIUM SIZED TOMATO 1/2 FINELY CHOPPED | ||
| FINELY CHOPPED GARLIC POD 2 | ||
| Mustard | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Urad dal | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| CHANNA DAL 1/2 TSP | ||
| Salt | 1 To taste | |
| Oil | 3 Teaspoon | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Drop | |
| Water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Coriander leaves | 4 , chopped | |
Directions
1. ROAST VERMICILI IN 1 TSP OIL
2. HEAT 2 TSP OIL CRACKEL MUSTARD, URAD DAL, CHANNA DAL. ADD THE ONIONS, SAUTE IT WELL THEN ADD CHOPPED GARLIC FOR FLAVOUR & THEN THE TOMATOES, COOK WELL. NOW PUT SALT TO TASTE.
3. THEN POUR 2 CUPS OF WATER AND BRING IT TO BOIL
4. ADD VERMICILI TO THE BOILED WATER AND KEEP STIRRING CONTINUOUSLY
5. ONCE ITS TAKEN OFF FRM HEAT PUT 2 -3 DROPS OF LEMON JUICE & MIX IT WELL
5. GARNISH WITH CORAINDER LEAVES
UPMA IS READY TO EAT.
