Veloute Sauce Recipe
Veloute Sauce is one dish which you cannot resist making again and again. A lip-smacking Side Dish, this Veloute Sauce completes your spread. I have a weakness for Chicken, thus I prepare this recipe often. Spread the taste by sharing this Veloute Sauce recipe with your friends.
Ingredients
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
1/4 cup sifted flour
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 can chicken consomme
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon lemon Juice
Directions
Melt butter or margarine in small saucepan; remove from heat.
Blend in flour and pepper; gradually stir in consomme and water.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens and boils 1 minute; stir in lemon juice.
Serve hot.
