Vegetarian Submarine Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 large whole wheat submarine sandwich roll, sliced lengthwise | ||
| Cheese | 4 Large | |
| Mushroom onion | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), sauteed | |
| Shredded lettuce | ||
| Tomato | 1 , sliced | |
| Pickle and raw onion slices, if desired | ||
Directions
Place cheese on bottom half of roll and place under broiler until cheese melts.
Top with sauteed mushroom and onion, lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, and raw onion.
Replace top of roll; slice into individual servings. (May broil top part of roll in aluminum foil while melting cheese on bottom half.)
