Vegetarian Cholent Recipe
Ingredients
| Large onions - 3, sliced | ||
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm) | |
| Oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Lima beans | 1 pound, cooked | |
| Potatoes | 4 | |
| Salt | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Paprika | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Bay leaf | 1 | |
| Boiling water | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 300°
MAKING
2. In a dutch oven add oil and saute garlic and onions. Saute til they are tender.
3. Add the next 6 ingredients.
4. Mix boiling water and cover the ingredients totally.
5. Cover and bake for 6-8 hours at 300°
6. Remove bay leaves.
SERVING
7. Serve vegetarian cholent with rice.
