Vegetables with Buttermilk Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Carrots | 1 pound | |
| Frozen English peas- 1 (16-ounce) package | ||
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Green onions with tops- 1/2 cup, thinly sliced | ||
| Buttermilk Sauce | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. In a saucepan, combine first 5 ingredients, boil and simmer for 10 minutes
2. Now add onions and cook for about 1 minute, then drain the vegetables
3. Transfer vegetables to a serving dish
SERVING
4. Serve with Buttermilk Sauce
