 Carrots1 pound
 Frozen English peas- 1 (16-ounce) package
 Water1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sugar1/2 Teaspoon
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Green onions with tops- 1/2 cup, thinly sliced
 Buttermilk Sauce

Directions

MAKING
1. In a saucepan, combine first 5 ingredients, boil and simmer for 10 minutes
2. Now add onions and cook for about 1 minute, then drain the vegetables
3. Transfer vegetables to a serving dish

SERVING
4. Serve with Buttermilk Sauce
