 Brine
 Whole green tomatoes
 Celery stalks, in 2-3 inch pieces
 Cauliflower
 Green peppers1 To taste
 Vinegar
 Garlic3 Clove (5gm), halved (Carrot sticks per quart jar:)
 Mixed spices1 Teaspoon (Carrot sticks per quart jar:)
 Dill sprig1 (Carrot sticks per quart jar:)

Directions

To make brine, insert a raw egg, in shell, in water, and add enough salt to water so that egg will break surface of water in the visible diameter of a dime.
Wash all vegetables and place in quart jars.
Fill jars with brine, sealing tightly.
Shake and turn jars every other day for 10 days.
Remove brine.
Fill jars with vinegar.
To each jar add garlic, mixed whole spices, and fresh dill.
