Vegetable Whiz Casserole Recipe
Cooking up something special is always fun and here's a simple recipe for Vegetable Whiz Casserole to double that fun. This Vegetable Whiz Casserole is really gonna taste good and will definitely make up a great meal!
Ingredients
| Bermuda Onions – 2 large, sliced (about ½ cup) | ||
| Carrots – 3 cups, sliced | ||
| Pasteurized Processed Cheese – 1(1 pound jar) | ||
| Buttery Crackers – 36 round, finely rolled (about 11 ½ cup crumbs) | ||
| Ground black pepper | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Thyme leaves | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pimentos – 1 jar (4 ounce), chopped | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) In a frying pan, sauté the carrots and onions till tender
2) And then drain onto absorbent paper
3) Over a pot of boiling water heat the cheese spread
4) In a 2 quart baking dish, layer in vegetables, melted cheese and crumb mixture
5) Top the crumbs with the chopped pimentos
6) Bake in the oven for 15 minutes for about 350F with the lid on and an additional 15 minutes without the lid

7) Serve warm
