Ingredients

 Bengal gram1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Rice flour1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
 Salt To Taste
 Baking soda1 Pinch
 Onion2 , finely chopped
 Ginger paste1⁄2 Inch
 Onion1⁄2
 Green chili5
 Turmeric powder1 Pinch
 Finely chopped cilantro1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
 Frying cooking oil2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Frying)
 Grated potato1
 Cauliflower florets3
 Chopped cabbage1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
 Bell pepper1 Small, chopped
 Water1 Cup (16 tbs) (As Required)

Directions

1. Sieve finely Bengal Gram (basan). Add rice flour.

2. Make a paste of ginger, onion (1/2) green chili and turmeric powder. Add to the besan and flour.

3. Add all other ingredients including vegetables. Mix well.

4. Heat oil in frying pan. Prepare medium sized pakoras (balls) and fry them till it turns light brown. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or mint chutney.
