Mustard Vegetable Medley Recipe
This quick vegetable medley recipe can be prepared for a side to any meal. Cooked in a microwave with beans, french fried onions, hash brown potatoes in a cheddar cheese soup base, the vegetable medley is flavoed with mustard, along with salt and pepper.
Ingredients
1 package (6 ounces) hash brown potatoes with onions
1 can (11 ounces) condensed Cheddar cheese soup
1 can (16 ounces) French-style green beans, drained
1 can (3 ounces) French fried onions
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon dry mustard
Directions
Pour enough boiling water over potatoes to cover in 2 quart casserole or bowl.
Let stand 5 minutes; drain thoroughly.
Reserve 1/2 cup of the onions; stir remaining onions and remaining ingredients into potatoes.
Cover and microwave 5 minutes; stir.
Top with reserved onions.
Cover and microwave until hot and bubbly, 4 to 5 minutes.
