Vegetable Filling Recipe
Be it your favorite pie, sandwich, lasagna or any such dish that required a real good vegetable filling, this recipe is gonna be the best choice ever! This vegetable filling uses all nutritious veggies, is real simple and take nothing more than a few minutes time to whip it up. Do give it a try, coz this is something that would not cost you much also.
Ingredients
| Vegetable oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Mushrooms | 1/2 pound, sliced | |
| 2 medium size onions, chopped | ||
| Carrots | 2 Cup (16 tbs), coarsely chopped | |
| 9 lasagna noodles, cooked according to package | ||
| Garlic | 4 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Spinach | 1 pound, trimmed | |
Directions
Heat oil in a large saucepan; saute mushrooms, onions and garlic until tender.
Tear spinach into bite size pieces; add spinach and carrots to saucepan, cooking 2 to 3 minutes, until spinach is tender.
Drain vegetables.
Stir 1 1/2 cups Cheese Sauce into spinach mixture.
Add the reserved 1/4 cup milk to Cheese Sauce remaining in pan.
Tear spinach into bite size pieces; add spinach and carrots to saucepan, cooking 2 to 3 minutes, until spinach is tender.
Drain vegetables.
Stir 1 1/2 cups Cheese Sauce into spinach mixture.
Add the reserved 1/4 cup milk to Cheese Sauce remaining in pan.
