Vegetable Chop Suey Recipe

Ingredients
2 tablespoons oil
1/4 cup sliced pork
1/4 cup sliced celery
1/2 cup sliced celery cabbage
1/4 cup sliced onion
1/2 cup bean sprouts
1/2 cup chicken stock
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon monosodium glutamate
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
Thickening:
2 teaspoons cornstarch mixed with 4 tablespoons water
Directions
Heat a pan with oil and when it is hot add the pork and saute for about 20 seconds.
Add the celery, cabbage, onion and bean sprouts and continue to saute for 2 more minutes.
Add the stock, salt, pepper and monosodium glutamate.
When it boils, cover, turn down the heat and allow it to simmer for about 4 minutes.
Add the soy sauce and thickening and stir.
When the sauce becomes smooth and thick, turn out onto a shallow platter and serve immediately.
