Vegetable Beef Soup with Barley Recipe
This easy and healthy vegetable beef soup with barley recipe is my mother's favorite.She is very sincere about healthy cooking . When we come home during holidays, she generally prepare this soup. It is very healthy and my whole family enjoys it. You must try this vegetable beef soup with barley recipe.

Ingredients
1/2 lb. lean ground chuck
3 c. water
2 c. canned tomatoes
1/2 can juice
1/4 c. barley
1/4 c. dried green split peas
1/3 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. beef bouillon granules
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 bay leaf
1/3 c. chopped celery including leaves
1/4 c. sliced carrots
Vegetable cooking spray
Directions
Stage1-Spray Dutch oven with cooking spray.
Stage2-Add ground chuck and cook until browned; drain.
Stage3-Add water and next ingredients.
Stage4-Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer 25 minutes.
Stage5-Stir in celery and carrots; cover and simmer 25 minutes.
Stage6-Remove bay leaf and serve.
