Ingredients

 
1 cup basmati rice
 
2 tbsp olive oil
 
5 beans chopped thin and lengthwise as shown
 
1/2 carrot chopped thin and lengthwise as shown
 
1 handfull thin and chopped cabbage
 
1/4 capsicum chopped thin and lengthwise
 
1/2 bunch chopped spring onions
 
1 handfull peas
 
2 tsp soy sauce
 
1 tsp vinegar (optional)
 
2 pinches ajinomotto
 
2 tsp pepper powder
 
1/2 tsp white pepper powder
 
salt as needed
 
1 count egg

Directions

* Cook rice in rice cooker with 1cup rice:1 1/2 cup water along with salt.

* Make scrambled egg with a tsp oil and a pinch of salt and a pinch of soy sauce.

* Cut the vegetables as shown in the picture.

* In a big pan pour oil, put the vegetables- carrot, cabbage, beans,capsicum,peas and 2 piches of ajinomotto and fry for 2 mins. Keep flame in medium.

* Now put the spring onions, soy sauce, vinegar, salt a little, white pepper powder and fry till the vegetables are 3/4 th cooked.

* Add cooked rice, pepper powder to this and mix all. Add the scrambled egg and mix.

* Serve hot with any chicken or kurma item or as it is.

Yah that is true, you can do this dish without ajinomotto also. It does not make much difference.

The dish very appetizing. Long-term consumption of Ajinomoto/Monosodium glutamate popularly known as MSG has been associated with headaches, lethargy, anxiety, stomach cramps, chest pains and tightness. Studies are still underway to authenticate its connection to cancer and other harmful health effects. It is strongly advised to not let children below 12 months to consume food containing MSG.
