Vegetable Tartlets Recipe
Ingredients
2 tbsp (30 ml) butter
2 shallots, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, smashed and chopped
1/2 lb (250 g) mushrooms, chopped
1 cup (250 ml) white sauce, heated
8 tartlets, cooked
1/4 cup (50 ml) grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper
Dash nutmeg
Directions
Heat butter in saucepan.
Cook shallots and garlic 2 minutes over low heat.
Season and add mushrooms and nutmeg; cook 4 to 5 minutes over medium-high heat.
Pour in white sauce and continue cooking 2 to 3 minutes over medium heat.
Spoon mixture into tartlets set on cookie sheet.
Add cheese and broil 3 minutes in oven.
