Vegetable Pizza with Oat Bran Crust Recipe
|Oat bran hot cereal||1 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked (Quaker)|
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Skim milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||3 Tablespoon|
|Oat bran hot cereal||1 Tablespoon, uncooked (Quaker)|
|Low sodium tomato sauce||8 Ounce (1 can)|
|Sliced mushrooms||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Bell pepper||1 Medium, cut into rings (green, red or yellow or combination)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Shredded part skim mozzarella cheese||5 Ounce (1 1/4 cups)|
|Oregano leaves/Italian seasoning||1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed|

Add milk and oil; mix well.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Heat oven to 425°F.
Lightly spray 12-inch round pizza pan with vegetable oil cooking spray or oil lightly.
Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon oat bran.
With lightly oiled fingers, pat dough out evenly; shape edge to form rim.
Bake 18 to 20 minutes.
Spread sauce evenly over partially baked crust.
Top with vegetables; sprinkle with cheese and oregano.
Bake an additional 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Cut into 8 wedges.
