Vegetable Chow Mein Recipe

Ingredients

 
100 gm noodles
 
2-3 flakes garlic crushed
 
1 onion shredded
 
1 capsicum shredded
 
1 cup shredded cabbage
 
1 carrot shredded
 
1/4 tsp ajinomoto
 
1 tsp white pepper
 
A pinch sugar
 
2 tsp soya sauce
 
1 tbsp vinegar
 
1 1/2 tsp chilli sauce
 
2 tbsp oil
 
3/4 tsp salt

Directions

Boil noodles and dry them by spreading them on a big tray.
Shred all vegetables into thin long strips.
To shred onions, peel and cut into half.
Cut each half into thin semi circles to get thin long strips of onion.
Heat oil.
Add garlic.
Add onions.
Stir fry for 1/2 minute.
Stir fry carrots and capsicum for 1/2 minute.
Add cabbage.
Add salt, pepper, sugar and ajinomoto.
Add boiled noodles.
Add soya sauce and mix well.
Add vinegar and chilli sauce.
Stir fry for 1 minute.
Add more soya sauce for a darker colour.
