Vegetable Beef Soup With Lima Beans Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 package Freezer Beef Base | ||
| 1 14 1/2-ounce can tomatoes, cut up | ||
| Beef broth | 1 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 of a 10-ounce package (1 cup) frozen lima beans | ||
| Carrots | 2 , thinly sliced | |
| Minced onion | 1 Tablespoon, dried | |
| Dried thyme | 1/2 Teaspoon, crushed | |
Directions
In a 2-quart casserole micro-cook base, covered, on 50% power (MEDIUM) about 8 minutes or till thawed, stirring once to break up base.
Stir in undrained tomatoes, broth, lima beans, carrots, onion, thyme, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
Micro-cook, covered, on 100% power (HIGH) 12 to 15 minutes or till boiling, stirring once.
Reduce power to 70% (MEDIUM-HIGH).
Micro-cook, covered, about 30 minutes or till meat and vegetables are tender, stirring twice.
Stir in undrained tomatoes, broth, lima beans, carrots, onion, thyme, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
