Ingredients

 Cooking oil - 2x15 ml spoons
 Onion1
 Celery - 3 stalks, scrubbed and finely chopped
 Green pepper1 To taste, cored
 Long-grain petna rice - 225 h
 Hot Poultry stock - 600 ml OR water and 1/2 chicken stock cube
 Salt1 To taste
  black pepper1
 Walnuts - 25 g, shelled and coarsley chopped
 Unsalted roasted peanuts50 Gram

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Arrange the ingredients.

MAKING
2) In a cooker, heat the oil and saute the vegetables for few minutes but avoid coloring.
3) Stir in rice and cook until rice absob the oil.
4) Add stock or water and stock cube and season well with salt and pepper
5) Cover the cooker with lid bring to high pressure and cook for 5 minutes.
6) Reduce the pressure quickly.
7) Return the open cooker to flame.
8) Add nuts and with a fork stir the rice to seperate.

SERVING
9) Serve the pilaf as side dish with curry.
