Veal Scaloppine With Parmesan Recipe

Ingredients

 
4 thin veal scallops (slices from leg of veal)
 
1 large egg
 
1/2 tablespoon oil
 
3 tablespoons flour Salt and pepper
 
1/2 teaspoon powdered garlic
 
3 to 4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
 
3 tablespoons butter
 
Juice of 1/2 lemon
 
1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley

Directions

Beat scallops between waxed paper.
Mix egg with oil; beat.
Add seasoning and garlic to flour; mix with cheese.
Brush scallops with egg mixture; press into cheese and flour until completely coated.
Melt butter; fry scallops until golden brown, about 5 to 6 minutes each side.
Place on warm serving dish; keep hot.
Add lemon juice to butter in pan; reheat.
Pour over scallops just before serving; decorate with parsley.
