Veal Parmigiana And Green Noodle Bake Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 package (8 ounces) green noodles
 
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
 
1/2 cup dairy sour cream
 
2 tablespoons milk
 
1 container (8 ounces) whipped cream cheese
 
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
 
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted
 
1 can (3 or 4 ounces) sliced mushrooms, undrained
 
4 frozen breaded veal patties
 
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
 
2 canned pimientos, slivered
 
1 package (8 ounces) mozzarella cheese
 
1/2 cup canned meatless spaghetti sauce

Directions

Cook noodles, following label directions.
Meanwhile, blend soup with sour cream, milk, cream cheese,Parmesan and melted butter; stir in mushrooms and their liquid.
Set aside.
Quickly brown veal patties on both sides in butter in a large skillet.
Drain on paper toweling; cut in half.
Drain noodles.
Combine with soup mixture and pimiento; turn into shallow 12 cup baking dish.
Arrange veal patty halves on top.
Cut mozzarella into 8 slices; top each patty with one slice.
Spoon spaghetti sauce in center of each cheese slice.
Bake in a moderate oven (375°) for 15 minutes, or until cheese melts.
Garnish, with clusters of parsley or watercress, if you wish.
