Veal Mozzarella (Vitello Alla Mozzarella) Recipe
Ingredients
6 slices veal steak
3 eggs
1 cup (125 g) bread crumbs
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
3 tablespoons grated Romano cheese
salt and pepper
1/3 cup (83 ml) olive oil
Tomato Sauce
6 slices Mozzarella cheese
Directions
Beat eggs slightly.
Combine bread crumbs, parsley, grated cheese, salt and pepper.
Dip veal in eggs and roll in bread crumbs.
Heat oil in a frypan and brown veal on both sides.
Put into a baking dish.
Pour over Tomato Sauce.
Place one slice of Moz zarella cheese on top of each piece of veal.
Bake in a 275°F (140°C) oven for about 20 minutes.
