Veal Cordon Bleu With Asparagus Recipe
I originally made this Veal Cordon Bleu for my spouse but I can't stop eating it now! It is a great Side Dish. Stop thinking! Try this Veal Cordon Bleu recipe immediately.
Ingredients
12 thin slices veal
6 thin slices Swiss cheese
6 thin slices Virginia ham
Flour
3 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup bread crumbs
3/4 cup butter
Salt to taste
Freshly ground pepper to taste
24 cooked asparagus tips for garnish
Directions
Flatten veal slices with a mallet; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place 1 slice of cheese and 1 slice of ham on each of 6 veal slices; cover with remaining veal slices.
Pound edges together with mallet to seal.
Dip each cutlet in flour; then eggs then bread crumbs.
Saute in butter for approximately 8 minutes.
Season to taste.
Garnish with hot asparagus tips.
