Veal Chops Paprika Recipe

Ingredients

| Salt | To Taste | |
| Black pepper | 1 , freshly ground | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Paprika | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Onion | 1 Small, finely chopped | |
| Tomato paste | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Water | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Cornflour | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cream | 2 Tablespoon |
Directions
Melt butter in a heavy frying pan.
Sprinkle veal chops with paprika and fry over a moderate heat until browned and cooked through (about 10 minutes).
Lift out and keep warm.
Lower heat arid fry onion in pan until soft, add tomato paste, water and salt and pepper to taste.
Cook for 5 minutes over gentle heat then thicken with cornflour blended to.a smooth paste with a little cold water.
Bring to the boil, cook 30 seconds and stir in cream.
Replace chops in pan to reheat, without allowing sauce to boil.
Serve immediately.
