Veal With Wood Sorrel Recipe
Ingredients
8 or more veal chops cut thick
1/2 pound sorrel
4 strips bacon
2 carrots, sliced
2 onions, minced
1 cup good stock
2 tablespoons white vermouth
Directions
Make a deep bed of wood sorrel.
Add pieces of meat and seasoning.
Put bacon on top of chops.
Spread onions and carrots.
Moisten with broth and vermouth.
Season a last time.
Close and bake.
