Veal with Orange Slices Recipe
Ingredients
| Oranges | 2 | |
| Orange rind | 2 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Veal cutlets | 12 | |
| Vegetable oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Brandy | 2 Tablespoon, warmed | |
| Beef bouillon - 1/2 cup | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper white | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Orange juice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven slow to 200°F.
2. Grate 2 teaspoons orange peel.
3. Cut the remaining peel and remove white membrane.
4. Cut orange into thin rounds.
MAKING
5. Arrange orange pieces in a baking pan, cover and bake.
6. In a frying pan heat oil and sauté veal till light brown.
7. Pour warmed brandy over it and flame until alcohol is burned off.
8. Add bouillon, salt, pepper, orange juice, and orange rind.
9. Cover and simmer for 8 minutes.
10. Remove the lid and cook over high heat for 4 minutes.
SERVING
11. Serve veal on preheated serving platter.
12. Pour sauce over it and garnish with warm orange slices.
