Veal Vegetable Loaf Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 pound ground lean veal | ||
| Cottage cheese | 1 Carton (1l) | |
| 3 medium-size carrots, pared and grated | ||
| Onion | 1 Small, chopped | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Basil leaf | 1/2 Teaspoon, crumbled | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
1. Mix veal, cottage cheese, carrots, onion, egg, salt, basil and pepper in a large bowl. Shape into a loaf in a shallow baking pan.
2. Bake in moderate oven (350°) for 50 minutes, or until firm and lightly browned on the top. Cut into 12 slices.
