Ingredients

 2 lbs veal cutlets, 3/8inch thick
 Dry bread crumbs
 Milk
 1/3 cup salad oil or dripping
 Garlic1/2 Clove (5gm)
 Onion2 Tablespoon, chopped
 Green pepper1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Dry white wine2/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1 Teaspoon

Directions

Cut veal into 6 servings.
Dip each piece into bread crumbs, then into milk and again into crumbs.
Heat oil and saute garlic, onion and green pepper until almost transparent.
Discard garlic.
Add veal and brown both sides over medium heat.
Add wine and salt.
Cover pan and cook slowly for 45 minutes, turning meat once halfway through the cooking.
Spoon pan juices over cutlets when serving.
