Veal Roast South Pacific Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), softened | |
| Garlic | 1 Large, minced (Curry powder - 2 or 3 teaspoons) | |
| Veal | 3 Pound (Curry powder - 2 or 3 teaspoons) | |
| Condensed cream of celery soup - 1 can or 10 3/4 ounces | ||
| Sour cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Curry powder - 2 or 3 teaspoons) | |
| Water | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) (Curry powder - 2 or 3 teaspoons) | |
| Pineapple tidbits | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), drained (Curry powder - 2 or 3 teaspoons) | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1. In a bowl mix curry, garlic and butter.
2. Spread the mixture evenly on the sides and top of the veal.
3. Preheat the oven to 325°F
MAKING
4. Take a roasting pan and roast the veal for 2 hours at 325°F. ( 35-40 minutes is needed for one pound of veal or 170°F on meat thermometer).
5. Remove the roasted veal from the roasting pan.
6. Pour the fat from the veal and keep the drippings in a bowl.
FINALIZING
7. Take a roasting pan and add soup, cream and drippings into it -place it on top of a range.
8. Pour in water and add pineapple.
9. Heat the mixture so that the brown bits loosen.
SERVING
10. Serve Veal Roast South Pacific with hot sauce.
