Veal Pot Roast Filipino Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 pounds veal breast | ||
| Soy sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vinegar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ground ginger | 1 Teaspoon | |
| All purpose flour | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Shortening | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Boiling water | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| White onions | 1 Cup (16 tbs), drained | |
| 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and pepper | ||
| 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and pepper | ||
Directions
Put veal in deep bowl.
Mix soy sauce, vinegar, and seasonings.
Pour over veal and let stand for at least 30 minutes, turning meat several times.
Lift meat from marinade; roll in flour and brown in hot shortening.
Put a small rack under meat in kettle.
Add marinade and boiling water.
Simmer, covered, for 2 hours, or until veal is tender.
Add onions and heat.
