| 2 pounds veal steak, cut 1/2-inch thick | ||

Directions
1. Wipe the veal with a clean, damp cloth and cut in 2-inch squares. Sprinkle it with salt, pepper and paprika.
2. Heat the butter or margarine in a frying pan with the garlic. Brown the meat in this fat, turning so that it is coated on all sides.
3. Add the tomato juice, cover and simmer 1 hour.
4. Remove the garlic, add cream or milk and heat until the liquid is hot, but do not boil.
