Veal Meatballs Recipe
Veal meatballs is a savory and rich meatballs prepared with gravy. Cooked with mushrooms, the veal meatballs has milk and sour cream as the bas efor the gravy. Flavored with garlic and seasoning sauce, the veal meatballs can be served over plain rice or noodles.
Ingredients
1 pound ground veal
1/2 cup fine dry breadcrumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
3/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
3/4 cup milk
1 (16 ounce) carton commercial sour cream
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, undrained
1 teaspoon browning and seasoning sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 (5 ounce) package egg noodles, cooked
Directions
Combine first 8 ingredients; shape into 1 1/2 inch balls.
Brown in hot oil 5 minutes in a large skillet.
Remove meat balls, reserving drippings in skillet.
Add flour to drippings; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Stir in next 5 ingredients.
Return meatballs to skillet, and cook over low heat 10 minutes.
