Veal Loaf Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground veal | 2 Pound | |
| Ground pork | 1/2 pound | |
| Dry bread crumbs | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Evaporated milk | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 3 tablespoons melted butter, margarine. shortening or drippings | ||
| Onion | 2 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 2 hard-cooked eggs, sieved | ||
Directions
1. Start oven, set at Moderate, 350° F. Rub a loaf pan with butter or margarine.
2. Mix the veal, pork, bread crumbs, milk, 2 tablespoons butter or drippings, onion, salt and the eggs. Pack into the loaf pan; or form into loaf shape in a shallow roasting pan.
3. Bake 1 1/2 hours. Baste first with the rest of the melted butter, margarine, shortening or drippings, then with drippings from tile loaf.
