Veal Chops With Onions Recipe
Ingredients
1 tbsp (15 ml)oil
2 tbsp (30 ml) butter
4 veal chops
1 small garlic clove, finely chopped
1 onion, finely sliced
Salt and pepper
1/4 Cup (60 ml) white wine
1/3 Cup (80 ml) 15% cream
Directions
– Preheat oven to 300 °F (150 °C).
– In a thick skillet, melt butter, heat oil and brown veal chops for 6 minutes on each side. Add garlic and onion, cook without browning and season with salt and pepper, then remove chops from skillet and keep warm.
– Deglaze skillet with white wine over high heat, then reduce liquid by half. Add cream, cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Coat veal chops with sauce
