Ingredients

 
2 pounds (907 g) boneless veal, cut in 1-inch (2.5 cm) cubes
 
1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt
 
1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) pepper
 
1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) basil leaves
 
1 large onion, quartered
 
1 medium green pepper, quartered and seeded
 
10 fresh mushrooms
 
8 ounces (227 g) Mozzarella cheese, chilled

Directions

Assemble Food Grinder with Fine Disc.
Grind meat into large bowl.
Add salt and pepper; mix well.
Set aside.
Assemble Salad Maker with French Fry Cutter Disc and large bowl.
Process onion, green pepper, and mushrooms.
Set vegetables aside.
Change disc to Shredder Disc.
Process cheese; set aside.
Shape meat into 8 patties and arrange on large broiler pan.
Broil patties on one side until brown.
Turn and broil for 3 minutes.
Divide vegetables and cheese equally on patties.
Broil until cheese is melted.
