Add 12 oz. box vanilla wafers.
Let stand until moistened.
Add 2 cups sugar, 1 1/2 sticks butter.
Beat well.
Add 1 cup pecans or walnuts, 1 can coconut.
Bake in tube pan 1 1/2 hours at 300°.
Let cool completely before removing.
