Vanilla Caramels Recipe
Vanilla Caramels is one of my favorite recipes. Served as a healthy snack, this recipe is loved by all. One of the reasons i like to make this is because it is easy to store. Try out this treat for any occasion!
Ingredients
| Sugar | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Light corn syrup | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 3 Small, separated | |
| Sugar | 2 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Fine graham - 1 cup | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Evaporated milk | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Vanilla | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Hot strong coffee - 1/2 cup | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Grease an 8-inch square pan.
MAKING
2) In a heavy 3-quart saucepan, mix together sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt.
3) Allow to boil, while stirring.
4) Little at a time, stir in the milk.
5) While stirring, cook the mix till it reaches a hard-ball stage.
6) Take off the heat and add in the vanilla.
7) Add the candy into the square pan.
8) Cool and cut into small squares.
9) Individually wrap each square in plastic wrap.
SERVING
10) Serve as a healthy snack.
