Vanilla Wafers Recipe
Ingredients
| Flour | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Soda-bicarb, 1 pinch | ||
| Salt | 1 Pinch | |
| Butter or margarine, 70 to 80 gms (5 to 6 tablespoons) | ||
| Powdered sugar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk, approx., 4 to 6 tablespoons | ||
| Vanilla | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Cream together butter and sugar.
Add flour mixture and enough milk to make batter of drooping consistency.
Add essence.
Fill the mixture in paper cones and pipe small drops a little apart from each other, on a greased baking sheet.
Bake in a moderate oven (180°C) for 15 minutes or until edges and bottom of the cookies are golden brown.
