Vanilla Sour Cream Cake Recipe
Vanilla Sour Cream Cake made with this recipe looks nice in addition to tasting great! The main ingredient in Vanilla Sour Cream Cake is Milk Product. I just love Dessert recipes and this dish is my only favorite amongst them. Trust me, once you taste this Vanilla Sour Cream Cake you are bound to prepare it again!
Ingredients
1 cup Vanilla Sugar
6 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 3/4 cups sifted cake flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup dairy sour cream
4 stiffly beaten egg whites
Fluffy White Frosting
Tinted coconut
Directions
Prepare Vanilla Sugar.
Cream butter and Vanilla Sugar; add vanilla.
Sift together dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream, beating just till mixed.
Fold in egg whites.
Pour into 2 greased and floured 8x1 1/2-inch.
round baking pans.
Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
Fill and frost with Fluffy White Frosting; sprinkle with coconut.
Vanilla Sugar: Split 1 or 2 vanilla beans in half; place in canister with 3 to 5 pounds sugar.
Let age at least two weeks.
