Microwave Urad Ki Dal Recipe Video
Urad daal is a regular day to day recipe made in homes. But it is interesting to learn to make it in microwave, sans conventional cooking methods.
Ingredients
| Urad dal/Maash daal | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1⁄4 , finely chopped | |
| Ginger piece | 1 Inch, chopped | |
| Chicken stock cube | 1⁄2 | |
| Dried chilies | 2 | |
| Curry leaves | 1⁄2 | |
| Jeera | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Green chili slices | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Mint | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Red chili | 2 | |
| Coriander | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 , finely sliced | |
| Curry leaves | 1⁄2 |
Directions
Soak dal in water. Add onions, ginger, oil, chicken stock, dried chilis and curry leaves.
Cover it with a plastic wrap and microwave it for 15 minutes.
Open the wrap and mix the dal. Mcrowave it for 3 more minutes.
Adjust salt and transfer into serving dish.
For final baghar heat oil, add cumin, onion, curry leaves, red chili and then the remaining ingredients.
Spread it over the daal. Serve hot.
