Upside Down Strawberry Cake Recipe
Ingredients
1 box yellow cake mix, mixed as per directions on box
1 pt. fresh strawberries, sliced
1 1/2 c. sugar (white granulated)
1 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
1 Tbsp. dry ginger
Directions
Use black iron skillet or square bread pan.
Spray bottom and sides of pan with nonstick spray.
Cover bottom of pan with sliced strawberries.
Cover strawberries with sugar.
Cover sugar with chopped nuts.
Pour cake mix over walnuts.
Place in oven and bake as directed on cake mix box.
Turn out on serving dish while hot.
