 Parmesan cheese4 Tablespoon (Leveled), grated
 4 level tablespoons Italian ham or salami, finely chopped
 Double cream4 Tablespoon
 Eggs4 standard
 Melted butter1 Tablespoon
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

Preheat the oven to moderate (350°F, Mark 4).
Butter 4 individual heatproof dishes well.
Sprinkle the base of each dish with the cheese and ham or salami, then pour in a tablespoon of cream.
Break an egg into each and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Spoon the butter over the tops then stand in a roasting pan containing 1/2-inch cold water.
Cook in the centre of the oven for approximately 8 minutes or until the whites are set and the yokes still creamy.
