Unsalted Baked Chicken With Grapes Recipe
Ingredients
2 1/2 pounds broiler chicken, cut in pieces
1 cup water
2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
3/4 teaspoon ground thyme
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Salt (optional)
1/8 teaspoon garlic, finely chopped
4 teaspoons cornstarch
4 teaspoons water
1 cup white seedless grapes
1 tablespoon cooking sherry
Directions
Place chicken pieces in 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x2 1/4-inch baking dish.
Add water.
Combine onion, thyme, black pepper and garlic; add to chicken.
Bake, uncovered, in preheated 350° oven, 1 1/2 hours or until chicken is tender.
Remove chicken to serving dish.
Thicken liquid in a pan with cornstarch mixed with water.
Add grapes and cooking sherry.
Add water.
