Uncooked Relish Recipe

This uncooked relish is so tasty ! I eat it in place of salad at times with my rice pasta, meat and fish dishes. Just try this uncooked relish yourself and let me know if you like it !

Ingredients

 
1 pt. green peppers, chopped
 
1 pt. sweet red peppers, chopped
 
1 qt. cabbage, chopped
 
1 pt. onions, chopped
 
2 tsp. celery seed
 
4 cups sugar
 
1 qt. vinegar
 
2-3 hot peppers
 
5 Tbsp. salt

Directions

Measure all vegetables after chopping.
Drain off liquid.
Mix vegetables with salt and let stand overnight.
Next morning drain off as much liquid as possible and discard.
Add sugar, spices and vinegar to vegetables and mix well.
Pack into sterilized jars and seal at once.
