Leftover boiled rice-1/4 pound
Besan-1/2 cup
Chapatti flour -1/2 cup
Dash of turmeric powder
Salt- to taste
Plain yogurt-1 tablespoon
Green chilies-2, ground
Ginger-1 (1/2 inch) piece, ground
Coriander leaves -1 teaspoon, ground
Onion-1 small, ground
Ghee- as necessary
Directions
GETTING READY
1)Take a pan and heat ghee for deep frying.
MAKING
2)In a mixing bowl, add boiled rice and add flours and then turmeric and salt, followed by the yogurt and then the ground ingredients.
3)Add ghee as necessary and knead the mixture into pliable dough. Do not add water.
4)Divide it into 8 portions and roll each one into a thick round disc.
5)Deep fry the discs until dark golden.

6)Serve the puris as a snack or mini meal.
