Tyson S Food S Kintail Cornish Game Hens Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 Tyson brand Cornish | ||
| Hens, thawed | ||
| Long grain rice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter/Margarine | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Orange marmalade | 8 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Brandy | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Salt cavity and stuff game hens with rice, apple, pecan mixture.
Place hens on foil in pan.
Over medium heat, melt butter.
Add orange marmalade, lemon juice and" brandy.
Stir until heated.
Brush some of marmalade mixture over hens, coating them well.
Cover hens with foil.
Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 30 minutes.
Uncover and baste frequently with pan drippings and more marmalade mixture, adding more brandy if desired, for one hour more.
