Tyson S Cornish Hens Steamed In Foil Recipe
Ingredients
4 Tyson brand Cornish Hens, thawed
1/4 tsp. sage or thyme
1 sprig parsley
For each Cornish Hen:
1 square of foil, 16 inches at least
1/2 tsp. salt
1 to 2 tsp. butter
Few grindings pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Season each hen with salt, pepper, sage or thyme.
Place on foil, lay a sprig of parsley on top of hen and wrap securely in foil.
Place hens on baking sheet or in baking pan.
Place in oven for 1 hour.
Remove hens and raise heat to 425°F.
Carefully open foil (watch out for escaping steam) to expose hens.
Brush with butter and return to oven to brown for 5 to 10 minutes.
Season each hen with salt, pepper, sage or thyme.
