Spread in buttered wax-paper-lined 8-inch square pan.
Melt chocolate in top part of double boiler over hot water.
Stir in milk and butter and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
Pour into pan over nut mixture.
When firm, cut into small squares.
Makes about 2 pounds.
